In a bid to secure the operational legal status of the 26MW Gas Fired Power Plant in Adiabo, Calabar, a delegation for the International Economic Relations Department in the Federal Ministry of Finance yesterday visited the plant.
The team comprising officials of the Ministry of Finance was led by the Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy, Prince Eka Williams and his management team to carryout onsight inspections and evaluation of the functionality of the gas plant.
Upon arrival, the delegation of the Ministry of Finance led by the Chief Administrative Officer, Aliyu Baba Abdullahi undertook a comprehensive tour of the power plant and other supporting facilities as conducted by the Project Manager, Mr Oladunni Joshua
It would be recalled that the 26MW Gas Fired Power Plant was commissioned during the Ayade-led administration by the Emir of Kano, High Highness Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, CFR on the 26th of May, 2023.
